
Here is a very simple Valentine’s Day Card that is easy to make.
Supplies:
8 1/2″ by 11″ White Card Stock
8 1/2″ x 11″ Light Tan Card Stock

Love word Stencil
Metallic Gold Paint http://www.monstermarketplace.com/ArtsCrafts/Landing4960a3460.html

Old Newspapers
Paintbrush or Paint Sponge
Glue Stick
Boning Knife
Cricut Cutting System
Cricut Cartridge with heart (ex. George and Basic Shapes, Plantin Schoolbook, etc.)
Instructions:
1. Use Cricut machine to cut one 2″ heart using the Tan paper. You can use the George and Basic Shapes or Plantin Schoolbook to cut a heart. Punch out hearts.

If you would like to make several of these cards at once, you can cut several of these hearts at once. Using the Cricut DesignStudio software, you can layout your hearts to ensure minimum space is wasted for multiple cutouts.

2. Spread out newspapers on a counter, desk to workspace. Use paintbrush or sponge to paint gold and bronze metallic paint over entire surface of hearts. Let painted hearts dry on news paper.
3. Cut 2″ x 3 1/2″ tan paper and use Gold paint to stencil Japanese love symbol. Cut and stencil several tan papers if you are planning on creating several cards. Tip: Practice stenciling on scrap piece of paper. Apply a minimal amount of paint. Let painted symbols dry on newspaper.
4. Cut 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ tan paper and use Gold paint to stencil word love. Let painted love papers dry on newspaper.
5. Cut 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ tan paper for gold hearts.
6. Fold 8 1/2″ x 11″ white card stock in half. Apply boning knife to folded edge.
7. When all painted pieces have dried, begin glueing items to folded card. See below for page layout dimensions. Hearts are glued on 2 1/2″ by 3 1/2″ tan papers.
